Puzzles (2/8)
Finally finished the 2k piece ice cream puzzle. Really like the bright colors, but ended with three areas of slightly different pinks that were a struggle. We're moving the puzzle table to the middle of the office, so we will see how that affects future puzz time. 

Non-Fiction (3/12)
Wrote about data privacy and MoviePass for our blog. I'm torn between their new model being the literal worst stage of capitalism and marketing and possibly seeing movies for cheap. Not that we have regular babysitters anyway. 

Podcast Recs (3/10)
I know I've recommended them before, they're a perennial favorite, but Oh No Ross and Carrie's coverage of the Conscious Life Expo has been incredible this year. It is absolutely wild how much of this formerly VERY fringe population has spread into everyday people. 

Been Watching
About 15 episodes into the Clone Wars, and couldn't care less about Obi-Wan or Anakin (and, in broad strokes, just about any other main familiar face, sorry Padme, I don't care about you missing clues about Palpatine or sneaking around with Ani. BUT. I absolutely adore all of the side characters! I just want 24/7 female Jedis, interacting with one another.

The minor Jedi characters are a lot of fun and I wish there'd been 80% more them and much less of Anakin. Do you like Ahsoka?

I don't... dislike her.

She's SO young, it is hard to get a good bead on her personality other than "impulsive" and "foil for Anakin"

That captures just about my feelings for her, at least early on, yes. She does acquire some depth as time passes.

Sometimes, honestly, when I read other people talking about this show I wonder if I somehow missed half the episodes, because they seem to have gotten A LOT more out of it, and deeper characterization, than I ever did. Not that I dislike it? I don't know, it's a bit weird.

No, I'm with you so far, at least. It is VERY surface, almost across the board. I keep meeting new Jedi and wanting to think about them or consider writing them, but then, there's... not a lot there.

Like, I realize it is basically a show for kids, but X-Men: Evolution had characterization for days! No excuse, guys.

Congrats on finishing the puzzle! 2000 piece puzzles are JUST SO BIG. We had to create a little poster board extender for our table to even fit all of the puzzle on the table's surface. XD

Ice cream puzzle sounds colourful and fun. :D
