Jackson is the only author whose work actually left me, like, triggered/deeply psychologically affected, to the point that I don't dare check out anything else of hers.

Anyway HI <3

I misread and thought you said you'd finished, not that you'd picked it back up.

Whoops.

That comment is a bit spoilery, perhaps. Not terribly so, but still.

Sorry. :(

*hugs*

Oh, good. I'm glad I didn't spoil you too bad.

Interesting (I'm saying that in my cartoon voice and drumming my fingers together). I never could tell whether that was a valid theory or not when I was reading criticism about Jackson. I will be very interested to see what you think about the ending; I can't tell from reading about it what it would be like in the execution.

Yay!

You are making me want to read all the Jackson I haven't read yet, and I cannot start reading anything new right now. *pouts* As soon as I finish grading, I have to write this class that I don't even know if it will make yet, and if it does not, I am going to be so pissed if I spend the whole month writing a class that gets canceled, but in January, I'm going to get the books I haven't read and join you!

I did not find The Sundial intense although YMMV. It is very much in the vein of We Have Always Lived in the Castle; I can't remember if you've read that one yet. So wry dark humor.
