My cat, Rusty, also loves breasts. We joke about it all the time, but when he wants human company, he usually makes a B-line for the comfiest cleavage he can locate.
They tend to co-exist, mostly. On a rare occasion they snuggle in the same vicinity, but most of the time they prefer to stay in different rooms. Sometimes they make-out-fight to varying degrees of violence. If I have the window open, they fight for who gets the choice spot, and that can get pretty intense. The other night they kept me up almost all night -- Roy defending his right to the window with yowls and Rupert protesting not being let up my meowing constantly (he's a talker). They both feign non-interest in dominance, but when it comes down to it, Roy wants to be in charge, and therefore loses every time.
Before these two, I had Roy and a sweet, sweet doof of a fat cat named Toby, and that worked well because Toby didn't give a flying anything if Roy was dominant. Toby was more of the passive aggressive sort, who would pee on all of my belongings before actually standing up to any other cat. However, when he was younger (he was about 10 when he died) he got along well with my kitten Spike... however when I went away to college my dad "returned" Spike to the Humane Society and didn't bother to tell me. Spike apparently didn't have a good temperament for anyone but me, and no beasts in the dorms, alas.
Roy's a young thing, but he's starting to show his age. Rupert's about a year younger, and you can tell. He's still very much a teenager, whereas Roy is becoming a bit of a grumpy man.
Um, I will talk about my cats endlessly if you keep asking questions, apparently.
Oh, man, I had a kitty named Spike that *my* father got rid of. I'm so sorry. ))):
I'm considering finding a friend for Buddy, because it is AWESOME that he is so bonded and playful, but it would also be nice if another kitty could take up spme slack.
I always feel less guilty about leaving them when they have a friend, and since my schedule keeps me out of the house for about 50 hours a week (60 or 70 on bout weeks) that's a very important motivation.
Yeah, once I start working outside the home again, I worry he'll go crazy with loneliness. He used to live with a bunch of other cats, which he didn't reslly like ,so far as we can tell (he was at the bottom of the hierarchy), but I think he would like someone to run around with like maniacs.
He's totally an indoor boy; we live right downtown.
<3 He sounds darling! My friend has a big dog and a small apartment and sometimes sets up a webcam to watch him during the day... and at times that feels tempting, but I would just want to run home if I saw them fighting or some such.
Mine are indoors as well, but since the apartment door opens right onto the yard, sometimes they've been known to make a break for it and go on a vacation for a day or two... naturally giving me a heart attack in the process.
I didn't actually expect you to post pictures, and certainly not this quickly! I'm glad you did though. They're adorable <3 . They look so serious, bless them. Rupert especially looks like he feels he's being very generous in allowing you to be sat on! XD
I feel rather sad that I'm not really in a position right now where I can keep cats. I do love them so :)
Haha! Well, I'm glad I did too. They're extremely serious for cats. I suppose cats, by nature, aren't supposed to be serious. But my cats are quite serious.
Rupert is benevolent with lying-down surfaces, yes.
:____; I am sad for you!! Can you at least visit cats?
One of my closest friends (and certainly my closest in actual distance; she only lives about 10 minutes walk away) has a lovely little black cat called Iggy (after the hero of A Confederacy of Dunces). He's so cute :)

Do you remember when Angela on The Office had a webcam for her cats and her coworkers saw her licking them? I can see that being me, all too easily.
