How it works:

-- Just comment to this post! I can't make you mosaic portraits from diet soda bottles, but I can make you meta, recs, ficlets or graphics, and I can certainly tell you why you're awesome.
-- If you want, include a question/request for a bit of meta or recs of a certain kind, or some prompts(could just be fandoms/actors), and I may write you a twitfic or a drabble or a comment fic of unpredictable length, or make you a mini-picspam or possibly a very wee vidlet, or do something totally random, if inspiration strikes. (Answers may or may not all happen by February 14 itself but they will happen!)
-- For reference, fandoms are the usual suspects: Parks & Recreation, Fringe, The Good Wife, Bomb Girls, Lost Girl, Party Down, Up All Night, United States of Tara, The Hunger Games, various movies, various RPF
-- You don't have to be on my flist (nor do you have to be a gal) to come to the party. If you can see this, you are invited!

1. I would TOTALLY do this but I don't drink soda, and it's sort of expensive to just use the container lol.

2. Yes, you should. It's WW2-era Canada and while the men are going off to war (or... not) the women are working in bomb factories. Huge female cast, at least one canon lesbian. Fabulous hair and dresses.

Galentine's Day YAY! And hee, I'm ridiculous and had been fretting about finding the time to do this again but hadn't considered just putting up the post earlier. *facepalm*

Annnnd even though I'm new here (though I think we follow each other on Tumblr? dangerouslyclose, yes?), I can't resist a request! Although, are you caught up with Fringe? I don't want to spoil you with my request if you aren't, so vaguely...I'd love a little of the Olivia and Nina backstory we find out in season 4 (though Olivia and Nina at any time basically is fine with me. :D)

Yay! Then I will say more specifically that I'm rather fascinated by Nina as Olivia's adoptive mother figure--everything from how that happened to just random every day interactions--and I wish we'd get more but doubt we will, so basically anything about that from any time would be aces.

I totally had to google Galentine's Day, and I'm still not entirely sure what it is, except that it's a Parks & Recreations reference! So hopefully I'll find out soon, because I've finally caved and decided to give Parks & Recs a look. Got some DVDs wending their way across the Atlantic as we speak :)

I only know Lost Girl and Fringe on your list, and I'm so far behind with those, it's not even funny (specifically, Season 1, episode 5 of Fringe (Mr Jones has just escaped and had Olivia abducted) and end of S1 of Lost Girl.
I kind of like the idea of Olivia/Bo interaction. It would be fun to see them dancing mistrustfully around each other.

Oh, that's an interesting idea... I'm not sure I could write it without spoilers though (especially Fringe, and you don't want that spoiled for you!)

As for Galentine's Day... quite simply, it is a day to celebrate your friends.

Having never really been properly ~with someone on Valentine's Day, I very much approve of a day to celebrate friends. That's a wonderful idea :)

I'm very much hoping to be mostly caught up with Fringe soon (I'm more than half way through season 1 now, and seasons 2 and 3 are ready and waiting) but my to-watch list is ridiculous so it probably won't be as soon as I'd like, and certainly not in time for the middle of February :(. Tis a shame :/ Maybe I'll re-prompt you when I all up to date :)

You are the only person on my reading list who I have seen even mention Bomb Girls! :D I would love to see anything related to that. (I especially love Betty, Lorna, and Gladys, but well, it's only been one episode so far! *g*)
