wee life update

aphrodite_mineBack to derby tonight and I'm super excited (with a pinch of natural nervousness). I'm not sure if we're even going to be skating tonight, as we're going over a lot of strategy and playing "sock derby" which is just like it sounds. I've been a bit adrift lately, not really feeling the deadline pressure on anything though there are some things on the horizon.
I suppose the biggest news is that I'm going to have a roommate.vilomsious is making the long journey to the Midwest and staying with me for a few months. *cheers silently at desk* I've been working on two fics for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
rarewomen (one Astrid-centric that's 1/5 done, the other Rebecca Locke-centric) and one for recast_bigbang which I'm sort of ridiculously excited about. I have literally 3k of notes written up on it. kink_bingo to fill my Parks & Rec itch.
Honestly, and you probably guessed as much, I'm bored at work, antsy about derby, and don't have anything real to report.
