Back to derby tonight and I'm super excited (with a pinch of natural nervousness). I'm not sure if we're even going to be skating tonight, as we're going over a lot of strategy and playing "sock derby" which is just like it sounds. I've been a bit adrift lately, not really feeling the deadline pressure on anything though there are some things on the horizon.

I suppose the biggest news is that I'm going to have a roommate. vilomsious is making the long journey to the Midwest and staying with me for a few months. *cheers silently at desk* I've been working on two fics for rarewomen (one Astrid-centric that's 1/5 done, the other Rebecca Locke-centric) and one for recast_bigbang which I'm sort of ridiculously excited about. I have literally 3k of notes written up on it. Other than that, I've been doing some writing for kink_bingo to fill my Parks & Rec itch.

Honestly, and you probably guessed as much, I'm bored at work, antsy about derby, and don't have anything real to report.

I did have fun! We're learning new strategies and my brain is kind of fumbly, but I hit people, which is always good!

P&R kinkfic is absorbing all of my brain. *squishes them and mushes them around* If you have any requests (other than Leslie/Ann) feel free. Sometimes inspiration bunnies get lost on the way to my fingertips, so it's nice to have a back up or two.
