poetry prompts

I don't write much poetry any more, but my brain needs a break from thinking in terms of plot so I'm stealing this idea from
sullensiren:
Leave me a photo, lyric, article, word, etc, etc, and I'll write you a poem inspired by it.

no subject
no subject
admit in crushed breaths, lost
the shadows moving underneath
your skin, shaped like finger
prints, shaped like a kiss
good morning you say
knowing that the sun will rise
regardless
no subject
no subject
no subject
no subject
--
arms
arms and arms
and hands
teeth against a pulse that burns under
skin slick with sweat from
the drink you downed
swallowing whole
swallowing you
blue and beat fading as
the lights come up
your skin again
a blank canvas
burning
no subject
--
this is what I offer you:
the pink scar on my middleback, shaped
like the space between our bodies
now
the flash of yellow
through my iris, lightening and thunder and
the calm that comes after
the catch of your name tangled
between teeth and tongue, sliding
over the air, electric
the crook of my baby toe
the space, pressed, between my thighs
your hand, mine
no subject
--
your bitter German
mouth
on
my see-through skin, bruising
I whisper prayer
to the St.
longing, cold like glass
capillaries like secrets between
us
