shake the habit

Bracing for ye olde winter storm - though it could very well still shake out as nothing, knowing the weather here. It doesn't seem fair that the snow day isn't a snow day and I just have to work from home. Having the power go out would suck, but it would be a proper break. Never mind, I'm not invoking that. The kids would riot. The storm, nothing or not, has pushed off, yet again, the big work meeting and kickoff. I have Schrodinger's promotion, or the promotion that fell in the forest with no one around. 

There are far too many events going on for femslash February (and did halfamoon always land this month?) and it would be nice if I were to write something for one of them, but I don't hold out much hope for myself. I'll do my pinch hit and offer a prompt or two and feel bad instead. Here's the ones I'm most keen on possibly trying to do: kimaracretak's bring her bleeding heart for me (dark femslash commentfic meme) and elasticella's femslash find it with a nice variety of prompts. There's more too, of course, but I'm trying to be kind to myself. 

I'm *checks watch* a bit depressed, I think. 

ETA. Will you link me to a place where you've made a request or prompt? (femslash preferred) Alternately, if you aren't participating anywhere, leave me something that would feel good at 300-500 words. If you like.

Rey and Rose know who each other are by TROS, but their relationship pretty much needs to be constructed by the author. Which is the fun bit. :)

Oooh! Very nice. Shall have to dive in to the last movie at some point. can't avoid it forever!

I wiah I could come over with appropriate snacks. That's how I feel too. I have it on my TiVo and keep staring balefully at it.
