Doctor tomorrow

Sick sick.
Half the office and half the team has this crud... and apparently H1N1 is going around the schools, so gah, just praying I don't have that.
My team lost on Saturday... thanks if you wore teal in solidarity! Definitely single-handedly won the after party while starting to get sick which made for a bad rest of the weekend full of bad choices (smoking a cigarette? REALLY? You thought that would be a good idea?) and Monday off of work. Today, I'm just trying to medicate enough to be at work with minimal fever.
Please:
1) hit me with the not-sucky writing stick if you have it
2) rec me some web comics (or just comics in general that I can read on screen, at work, for free)
On the up side, the weather is suspiciously nice which means the return of the old man and his dog which you'll recognize if you've read Horn of Plenty (which I linked to, kindly). Gah, they make me so delighted.
New Girl tonight!

otoh, I LOVE THE OLD MAN & HIS DOG! ♥!
For webcomics, I'm going to be obvious and rec Homestuck, both because it's awesome and I think you'd really groove on the multiple female characters (and some of the awesome dudes), AND because I want company in it. There's also Gunnerkrigg Court, which I stopped reading because I tend to drift easily, but its art is lovely and the protagonist & her best friend are fantastic.

Reading Homestuck. Uh, if all video games were like this (click! get more story!) I would play them ALL THE TIMEZ.

Right?! Plus, characters who are dear and truehearted, not musclebound power fantasies and sex objects. WHY I NEVER.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you that it's not full-on flu!
Erm, I honestly have no idea what colour teal is. I'm not sure why I'm picturing something in pale pink. I'm not very good with colours XD
Sorry your team lost :(/ On the plus side, if you only had 1 cigarette and then didn't succumb to the temptation to have more that's not too bad. Although smoking with a bad throat is never that good an idea :/
The only webcomic I'm currently reading is Order of the Stick which I love but unless you role-play, or have ever played D&D, probably won't mean a hell of a lot to you, especially in its early days. It's very very silly but the gaming geek in me really loves it XD As I've now finished season 2 of Parks and Rec I shall have to find a little time to read horm of Plenty some time :)
(PS Sorry about the multiple comment and deletes! I miss being able to edit my comments!)

Teal is: this -- a blue/green combination.
(And, gah, yes. I'm very glad I'm not all tempted for more. I need to tell my friends to not indulge drunk-me! Also to not become THAT drunk.)
I'm not super familiar with role-play of that sort, as I've only done it once and super casually. I'll give that comic a whirl.

Order of the Stick has a awful lot of in-jokes to begin with, which you really have to know D&D pretty well to get. Later on it becomes less a parody of roleplaying in general and Dungeons and Dragons in particular, and more a comedic fantasy saga. I honestly don't know how you'll like it if you don't get the in-jokes. I think there's a lot to enjoy even if you don't, but I can't really say for sure!
