I'm running on empty, and it doesn't help that all the things (ALL THE THINGS) seem just out of reach with time moving so slowly. My schedule this week is full of work. Tonight was supposed to be a skating practice but is off skates boot camp instead (yes, that is a terrified look on my face). Friday I get a bit of a reprieve -- dinner theater! -- and then next week goes back to the grind. We're running a mock bout on Monday, I have a meeting on Tuesday, regular practice on Wednesday, working late on Thursday, bout prep on Friday and bout Saturday. Day of rest, seeing Hamlet. Then practice and a spa party before the few days between then and the Thanksgiving rush when I'll be jetting back and fourth between here and St. Louis THREE TIMES.
Meanwhile, I really really need something to write with a due date. 3_ships assignment should come tomorrow, who knows when yuletide nominations will actually go up, and my big bang officially kicks off in December... but for the weeks until then I've been very antsy. I write when I feel good and I feel good when I write, so it's always nice to fill in at least half of that equation.

I'm afraid I don't have any helpful suggestions (I'm like you - the idea of writing 50000 words in a month leaves me cold) , so I guess I'll just try and send some positive vibes and hugs in your direction <3

Normally we work out in skating drills or mock scrimmages. Off-skates refers to anything we're doing, well, off skates. It usually involves lunches and weights and jumping high and far and fast. My thighs and ass are so sore from Wednesday!
