aphrodite_mineI had a huge entry all typed out about femslash11 and the lovely fic I got and the other ones I enjoyed, but LJ decided to eat it before I even hit post and I can only assume that it's some cosmic sign telling me not to be nice and rec things.
I quit xmenbigbang because I'm stuck, and I would like to actually finish some of my current projects, including xmmficathon, ladiesbigbang and writing for Somalia donations.
I also have a meme. Fandoms as exes.
The one who seduced you, screwed you over, broke your heart in a million pieces, and laughed about it.
The old flame you don't see very often any more but whom you still really enjoy getting together with for a few drinks and maybe a pleasant nostalgic romp:
Roswell.
The mysterious dark one whom you used to sit up with talking until 3 AM at weird coffee houses and with whom you were quite smitten until you realized s/he really was fucking crazy:
I have a feeling this will be Luther in a few weeks.
The one you spent a whole weekend in bed with and who drank up all your liquor and whom you'd still really like to get with again, although you're relieved s/he doesn't actually live in town:
Fringe. I doubt I'll ever get caught up in time for new episodes every week, and I think that's the only way to keep my sanity. Stay out of town, Fringe. We're better as long-distance.
The steady:
The Inside. Weird to think of that as something steady, but it's been my favorite show since I watched it, and one I can perpetually re-watch and write about and THINK about. The thinking is most important.
The alluring stranger whom you've flirted with at parties but have never gotten really serious with:
United States of Tara. Lots of flirting, very little action.
The one you hang out with and have vague fantasies about maybe having a thing with, but ultimately you're just good buddies:
Skins. I've seen too many people get hurt by you, Skins fandom.
The one your friends keep introducing you to and who seems like a hell of a cool person except it's never really gone anywhere:
Most HBO shows.
The one who's slept with all your friends, and you keep looking at them and thinking, "How the hell did they land all these cool people?"
Battlestar Galactaca.
The one who gave you the best damned summer of your life and against whom you measure all other potential partners:
Party Down. Parks & Rec.
The one you recently met at a party and would like to get to know better:
Better off Ted!

Who's your favourite character on the show, and do you ship Bo with someone, or prefer a crosspairing? My fave character is the person with the nickname Dr. Hotpants and currently I think she's too good for Bo. Instead I ship her with this person:
