This meme always makes me worry that saying anything means "OMG YOU NEVER WRITE X, WHY DON'T YOU WRITE X?" Which, you know, I'm totally not. So, on the proviso that I love your writing and the themes you cover, I notice you don't write a lot of older characters, maybe?

No offense taken at all, I think you have a correct point! I'd count it off to internal ageism, or something. I'm only recently graduating into writing people in their 30s/40s... It's just hard to imagine having lived a full life, having lived through so much. I feel totally overwhelmed even at the concept. And it's something I would like to do some day.
