Let me begin this letter by saying this: I love you! Whether this is your first year or your fifth, I hope this assignment comes as a joy and not a burden. This will be my second year participating in Yuletide, and I'm absolutely in love with the concept, with the attitude of giving that happens, and with the wonderful stories that happen because of it.

Also, I thought I should offer you a tasty treat or two. Might not be the best for sustenance, but always good for a quick fix. About 1,000 words worth, I figure. :)

Now, on to the details!
Keep in mind, dearest author, that these were not entered in order of preference. They are, in fact, ordered alphabetically. And so, my darling, I encourage you to write whatever you feel most comfortable with.

Request 1: Bandits (1997), the German film about a group of women who escape prison and become famous.

Specifics: Considering the vast lack of fanfiction in this fandom, I would love anything! Some gen from the past of any of the four girls, or a brief fling during their weeks on the run. My pairing du jour is Luna/Angel, but if you're a het writer, I would also dig Luna/West/Angel in some form or fashion.

Where Can I Find It?: Netflix, Local rentals (can be iffy), some song samples/music videos are on YouTube

Request 2: Degrassi High aka Degrassi Junior High, the PBS "after-school special" that predeceased The Next Generation.

Specifics: Snake/Spike, Caitlin/Spike, Liz/Spike, or a gen focusing on Liz or Spike would be really interesting considering the kind of lives they come from. Any femslash with other characters would be awesome too. Snake is really the only guy I like - if you feel compelled to slash him with a guy, I wouldn't object to Snake/Wheels as long as it's not explicit.

Where Can I Find It?: Netflix is your best bet if you want to get through everything: JHSI, JHS2, JHS3, and DHS1+2.

Request 3: The Fall, Tarsem's daring and charming follow-up to The Cell.

Specifics: I would love any story that takes place in this world: either the world of Roy and the hospital or the world of the Blue Bandit. Some familiar faces would be awesome, but if you want to take this in a new direction, follow the character of your choice down their path.

Where Can I Find It?: Netflix, local rentals... This should be pretty find-able.

Request 4: RPF - Saturday Night Live.

Specifics: Femslash, please. Amy Poehler/Tina Fey. Or, a story about their kids. Something funny and domestic. Or sexy and funny and domestic. Something like that.

Where Can I Find It?: Long-term exposure is best, but a quick-and-dirty primer of the Poehler/Fey saga can be found via pictures at sinful_caesar's place: here and here, and check out tamy_love for good measure. Multitudinous clips from SNL can be found at hulu.com.

If you're still looking for additional inspiration, dearest Yuletide writer, I suppose I can drop you a few more nuggets of optional-type things which I love. Of course, since I've requested a pretty wide variety of fandoms this year, it'll vary between them.

Bandits: filthy, filthy sex. angsty singing by either luna or angel. luna throwing a hissy fit, causing emma to throw a more mature hissy fit. marie talking crazy. west being an american asshole. the filthier the sex, the better (either literally, like the film, or figuratively, like naughty). if angel/luna, dubcon or some aspect of power play would not be objectionable. gun play? luna getting drunk and playing her guitar because luna is awesome.

Degrassi: confused teenagers trying to find what feels right. confused teenagers knowing what their parents say and what their hearts say don't agree. lesbian twins. abuse flashbacks. discussions about hair gel. guest appearance by emma (especially if it's a spike/snake story). an awkward dance that we didn't see in the show. teenage angst. one hundred percent intensity.

The Fall: more.

SNL: archie/alice. naughty moms. weekend update. emmy party. pregnancy. baby mama. the old days. sex in-character. sex (in general).
