poetry prompts

I don't write much poetry any more, but my brain needs a break from thinking in terms of plot so I'm stealing this idea from sullensiren:

Leave me a photo, lyric, article, word, etc, etc, and I'll write you a poem inspired by it.

books of 2011

Considering how much TV I watched this year, I guess it's not surprising that I didn't read very much. 31 books all told, including ones I only finished in 2011 and the ones I only started as well. Sigh.
