Moar Christmas

 Last night I had Christmas with my mom. I popped in Sufjan's Christmas album and that was my only solace for the evening of neurotic siblings and arguing and talking over one another. No one could decide what to watch as a family, but we managed to get through a game of Fact or Crap with mom and Charlie watching White Christmas over our heads. In any case, we all got through the evening alive. Amanda prooved she is the best sister ever and got me two kinds of skate laces (rainbow and black with skulls) and Mad Men season 1. I got nice fancy earrings from my mom -- part Christmas part graduation present - and a cool pair of legging-tights. 

This morning, there was more neuroses over breakfast, but then we went to my dad's where I had a glass of wine. XD. Dad took care of my list, getting me Middleman, Parks & Rec (seasons 1 and 2), Party Down (seasons 1 and 2), and a gift cert to Barnes and Noble. 

My yuletide fic is more than I could ask for. I haven't managed to get into the rest of the collection yet (family!) but if anyone out there watches Degrassi and was upset as I was at Holly J's plotlines this past season... please read <a href="http://archiveofourown.org/works/141608">watch it come back around</a>, by someone who managed to get everything perfect.

Currently watching my family play Wheel of Fortune for Wii (it's glitchy) and attempting to get some writing done. 

I also found out that Cape just got Black Swan in theaters (at the one where my brother works -- hello free admission!), so I am actually excited to go back.
