I. Love. Planning. And having things to look forward to. In fact? I think I'm going to capitalize it. Cause it's that much of a thing: Things To Look Forward To. *bounce* Sometimes, I do things just to look forward to them.
Like today. Someone randomly sent me an invitation to audition for The Vagina Monologues, and I figure, what the hell. I haven't been on stage in more than 6 years, in a speaking role make that at least 9. And despite the out-dated politics of the thing, I've always enjoyed the show. It's low pressure (no memorization, few practices, few performances) and a generally accepting environment.
And tomorrow. Laundry is something that I have a lot of trouble keeping up with unless I make a kind of ritual out of it. So, tomorrow night I'm skipping the local rock show and alternating episodes of United States of Tara (I need to review canon for a story) with loads of laundry).
And Saturday. Saturday's are the best day. And this Saturday is going to be even better, because it kicks off with the first ever SE Missouri writer's guild meeting. I've been needing to get back into writing (the recent bidding of my services should be a clue to that, I suppose) and I hope this will be a nice, gentle kick in the pants. After the meeting, I head for my writing spots and get down to business.
And did I say Saturday was the best day? I meant Sunday. Cause I'm gonna go over EARLY this week and watch Right at Your Door and we're gonna start Mad Men! SKADAAAAA.
Oooh, and Tuesday I start blogging for healthmonth.com~
