- I refuse to commit my thoughts on The Office finale to this journal.
- Turned in my application to Kohl's today. Hopefully, it will be beneficial.
- Also got a bunch of grad school papers in the mail. Yay mommy. Filling them out and will turn them in soon. Wooo.
- And now for some potentially offensive discussion:

This was posted on [livejournal.com profile] fandom_secrets today, not by me.

Thoughts? No wank please.

Yeah, I guess there is. And I wish I could get into these writers heads because it would be fascinating to see what they were striving for in their stories. Not to reflect what they know or can impart to a certain reality, but to completely enter a realm they can't hope to understand?

I know I have a few yaoi readers at least (and one or two writers) on my flist, and I hope they come in here and discuss. I really am curious how they view what they're involved in (wow, that comes out sounding negative, but...)

Yeah. I'm not put off at all by boy slash, obviously. I read it and when it's good, duh, I like it. But I do wonder about people who stick to it exclusively. (And don't get me started on the people who say, outright, ewwww, girl parts. That just maddens me.)

I've read and written boy slash too. When its good, I agree. *strokes chin*

Shall have to find some brain to pick.
