aphrodite_mine: barrettes in reddish hair read 'feminist killjoy' (random - glasses of joy)

Dear galentinesday author,

This fest is one of the fests of my heart. I am all about every level of female/female interaction from besties to all the resties. I am here for bff talks, friend dates, casual kissing, fwb, established relationship, domesticity (as friends or lovers), partnership, kink exploration... just about everything. I'd prefer the fic pass Bechdel, because these ladies have way more to talk about than dudes. If the characters have established sexualities, I'd prefer you not ignore that if sexuality is part of the story (so Britta could ID as bisexual, for example).

I would prefer to avoid non-con and dub-con (including things like, say, consuming a person without one's knowledge!, or fucking the wrong clone), but otherwise enjoy pretty much every type of story that emphasizes characterization through whatever else you like to write.

A few more notes based on individual fandoms:

I requested Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Bunheads, Community, Hannibal, Orphan Black, and Whip It!.

B99: everything female!Buddy Cop, celebrating holidays on the job, office pranks that aren't mean or cruel, queer-friendly office spaces. Specific thoughts: Gina integrating Amy or Rosa into her world, Rosa casually dropping a not-so-straight secret and everyone obsessing over it, someone has to go undercover in a high school (a la Never Been Kissed) and the crew helps give them a makeover to go along with the character they choose, Amy being rewarded for her ambitiousness

Bunheads: dancing out your feelings, surrogate moms/chosen families. Teendom being a time of solid confusion, whether it be about life goals, dancing, roller derby, friendship. Really interested in how Michelle and Fanny navigate their new relationship, especially with a very tangible missing link. Interested in the Stone sisters, as friends and rivals. As always, interested in queer ladies in and out of ballet shoes. I'm much more into the girls than they boys they dally in.

Community: Ambition, learning, growing. Family and chosen family. Absolutely adore the three main women as long as plots don't only revolve around men in their lives. Hijinks and hilarity welcome but not requiring willing to look the darkness in the eye and still come out on the other side. Strength in togetherness and strength on their own.

Hannibal: As AU as you want! Please no eating people unless you want to go grimdark and have the eaters know what they're doing. (In short, I'm cool with cannibalism as long as it is consensual on the consumer's part.) Therapy, bonding outside of work, partnering on a case. Pre or post canon is fine, and if so inclined, I'm also interested in how other Thomas Harris characters might fit into this verse. Hannibal as instiator is fine, but I'm far more intrested in ladies than him or Will or Jack.

Orphan Black: As AU as you want! It can be hard to fit moments of love, sisterhood, friendship into the whirlwind world. Motherhood, connections that are unspoken, growing, changing, and discovering where others fit. Domesticity (cuddle pile sleepover!), future fic, past fic... Queer clones! (Sorry, not really interested in Cosima, but anyone else is game.) Particularly obsessed with Alison, Helena and Beth, but should note that Alison's obsession with birth children isn't something I want to read about.

Whip It!: who are they off the track, derby is pretty infamous for being a family -- someone goes through a rough time and finds out who comes to their aid, (if you are familiar with the game) those moments when they're so in-tune with someone else on the track that synchronized moves just happen, work out buddies. What happens when your friend is on another team, feel free to explore the shitty bureaucratic side of derby and the good things that remain. The only pairing I prefer to keep platonic is Pash/Bliss.
