There are actually three paper Homestuck books. I'm told that a little is lost in the translation (flash and music) but that they should be a worthy substitute. I'm going to get them when I get some more funds at my disposal. They are available here.

And yes, Reyes is strictly at season 8/9 invention. She and Doggett act as a rough-hewn replacement for Mulder and Scully, only in this case, Doggett is the staunch rule-follower and Reyes is a bit more... open to all things mystical. By this point, Scully has seen more than her share of the paranormal, and sticks around as a third agent and a player in the mythology.

Joffrey is just... no.
