I wrote for the first time in over a week today.

this part was for her (and this part was for her), Bomb Girls, Betty/Kate. For majesdane  on the occasion of her birthday.

 

Today has been strange. For the first time ever someone:

• came into the office to place their service call
• someone emailed me requesting that I read their story
• I dared to listen to music at work (and good golly, the affect on my mood for the better!)

I was thinking you should tell me about stories you think I should write. I mean, if you could sit me down for a day or whatever and say, "victoria gloss marcia, I want you to write this story for me," what would that story be?

I'm not actually promising to *write* any of these, mind you, but it's fun anyway. And who knows if I'll be inspired!

Music + work is always a good combination, if you can get away with it!

My moods have evened out for the most part, which is nice.

And I don't think it's necessarily asking for prompts, just a general idea of things you'd like to see from me.

I haven't yet seen Bomb Girls, but I'm looking forward to it, and your story.

That said, I think you would ROCK at historical ladyslash - like, New Girl or Suburgatory fusions with Bomb Girls! Or Our Idiot Brother in the roaring 20s (Ned sells bathtub gin! Cindy is a pioneering suffragette and lawyer!)

And this is where I admit to my paralyzing fear of research-based writing. I always want to write the things, but without research, the concepts tend to break my brain and with research, my brain breaks itself.

I hear you. I am really good at shooting myself in the foot and turning *any* project into a research-necessary one, with predictably paralyzing results.

That said, those ideas sound AMAZING and I want to read them post-haste.
