1) an awesome tv or movie dialogue scene

2) your favorite tv or movie introduction of a character

1)
- any time Rob narrates during High Fidelity
- the scene in 1x03 of The Middleman when Wendy yells at Sensei Ping in her car

2) Parker, from the pilot of Leverage
- dropping into frame from above to get an earpiece, then swinging back up to her perch, looking entirely too happy about the prospect of crime
- flashback to her childhood: her [foster?] father yelling at her that she won't get bunny back until she learns to obey him...or becomes a better thief
- young Parker skips away from her house, bunny in hand, and the house explodes

Oh, man. The Parker is a perfect example of what I want to do in class... if only I had the Leverage DVDs. (ARE there Leverage DVDs? I could make a really quick run to the store...)

Like back and forth dialogue, or can a monologue count?

Well then James Stewart's monologue outside the bar in "Harvey". Totally just one of the best written and acted scenes I have ever witnessed.

Can't find it on youtube...but one hundred percently the Carl Weathers scene in arrested development about the stew. Comedy genius...
