Dude, its long

Ill try to get a little more detailed, since you are curious.
When the writing is good, I like reading m/m.
It’s funny because when I write stories, I only write f/f or, sometimes, m/f.
As a woman, and a lesbian I know more about the sex b/w those two. I mean, I know the gist of m/m relationships, But I have never a) had anal sex, or b) have a penis.
I don’t really *hate* vagina or anything, but I think if I could I would be male. I feel more male than female, but I don’t feel it enough to be trans. I like having sex with women, as much as I like sex in general. Which is not a lot actually.
But I think the attraction to m/m, in reading it, is the same in watching it. I tend to watch gay porn because a) I think its hotter and b) lesbian porn scares me. With m/m fanfic, I am inherently reading the characters I like, or the ones I think are gay.
For example, take Xander. I always thought Xander should have been the gay character. So reading him with Oz, who is my favorite male character in Buffy, seemed hot. Now, looking for that pairing is not as easy as say, Spike/Xander. There are so many people that write them, and like 1 percent of them are any good. But with Oz/Xander, I have one website I go to, and one author I read over and over. The sex scenes are hot, but so are the regular ones. Some even seem like they could have happened in the show.
I also tend to ship, least likely characters. In HP, I like Ron/Draco, cause I hate Harry, and I think that pairing is retarded. But in HP, there are so many femslash options. You have Ginny/Luna. My favorite is Ginny/Tonks. There is one author I LOVE MORE THAN LIFE who writes HP.
I think the sex is hotter most of the time, I like that they can make men hot, but also because if it’s a good writer, make them relatable. But they don’t make them sunshine and roses, or “women.”
Anyway, there is my long answer of why.
