Interesting... I have that thought sometimes. Mostly... I don't know. I find that the most banal thing will take off as long as two very pretty boys have the potential of being slashed. It doesn't bother me, but it's totally not the same for girl pairings. I know the arguments (straight girls want to read/write about boys, etc.), but I don't always buy them completely.
