It helps that he is... supposed to be awful in Strange? A little? It at least made sense why he was in the role. If you want, you could just watch the flashback segment, because that is goddamn precious. Actually, flashback to the ending could be worth the watch for you. It is enough Almodovar to cover him. At least, IMO.
