the world wide

- Movies: 4/15 - No progress.
- TV Seasons: 10/10 - Will likely blow this goal out of the water and then some.
- Puzzles: 6/12 - But have started #7, it is POPSICLES
- Crafts: 0/1
- Writing: 0/3-5 - But I'm hoping to/planning to sign up for [community profile] everywoman  and probably [community profile] femslashex , so fingers crossed. I need to keep taking my meds so I fucking care about things. It is kind of nice.

I saw a meme that said libras cope with mercury retrograde by meal planning - I have no fewer than 15 recipes open to log. Please send me links to ones you like too. We have loads of bonus fruits and veggies for the summer months (thanks, pandemic WIC benefit) so recipes that are heavy on them are extra appreciated.

I’m a very picky eater myself and most of my pickiness revolves around vegetables, fish, and how things are cooked (e.g. pasta and rice, thought I hated them both my whole life till I realize it was the way they were cooked) so I feel you there. If you can find sturgeon or duck in your area and it’s not financially prohibitive you should have some and send pics, lol. Swiss chard is a nice, sort of neutral thing to eat the same way you’d eat spinach or lettuce and I literally found out I liked it last year. I found out I liked endives in 2019.

Are mushrooms something you’re also getting from the co-op thing? Those make such great sauces for meat. They don’t always reheat super well, unfortunately, but within the day they’re very good and you can always make sandwiches with those leftovers, though I assume I’m preaching to the choir there. I hate cooked carrots but they add a lot to sauces. Artichokes are great? Like, the whole thing in a nice sauce or a stew - yummy.

(I really enjoy talking about food, in case you couldn’t tell.)
