Parks Talk: Decided I'm going to keep watching Parks, with incredibly low expectations and a little emotional distance. Going to experiment with selective memory -- that scene where Leslie calls Ann beautiful? Totally happened! Anything with Ben or Tom? Totally didn't! In other parts of my Parks-fandom brain, I've decided that the only way for Ann to be happy is for Leslie to either realize what a fuckhead she's being and apologize or for Ann to meet an amazing woman (Lucy? C'mon!) who won't give her shit. Or just, season 1 and 2 Leslie. /Parks Talk

...okay, I googled Highly Sensitive People (it sounded like a David Foster Wallace title!) and even the author's webpage is blowing *my* mind.

I spent last night reading the first two chapters intermittently sobbing and shaking my head in wonder.

And LOL I'll let you know how the approach works. I have a feeling I'll still be dramatically upset after each episode, but maybe it's just a mindset thing.
